year 8  class camp - glenworth valley

On Monday we drove to Glenworth valley and the camp started with a scavenger hunt. The hunt was interesting, but also tricky. Bedtime was 10:00pm and before sleep we always got a good hot chocolate and sat around a cosy campfire.

On Tuesday we did horse riding, which was alright, but I would have liked to do a different activity, like axe throwing. On Wednesday we did kayaking and a bushwalk. The kayaking was fun for about an hour, but all together it took around 2 hours and we all got soaked which was fun. The bushwalk was boring in my opinion and I thought that they had other better activities to do than a bushwalk.

Thursday was by far the best day. Quad biking and laser skirmish were both amazing and I wished that we could have done each for longer but it was still really good. The last day was Friday were we cleaned the camp area and emptied our tents. Just before we left, we did one last activity which was a team task. The best task was the balloon game where each team used a sheet to throw the balloon over the net. The first team to drop it lost a point. This was one of the best activities they had there.

This camp was the best camp that I have had at the GISS and overall, I would give it a 10/10
