tok exhibition at giss - a huge success!

Our Class of 2023 have ended the first year of their IB Diploma journey on a high with their Year11 ToK Exhibition, a culmination of their collaborative learning project with Westbourne College. GISS and Westbourne are the only two schools in Sydney who offer only the IB Diploma as their senior school curriculum.

Collaborating on their ToK Exhibition provided a meaningful exchange of thinking and concept-based learning, to explore how the Theory of Knowledge can be applied to real world situations, by identifying objects and artifacts that can be curated to explore connections to knowledge sharing and learning.

Teachers and students alike, were enriched through this experience and as the host school for this year's exhibition, it was an added bonus to welcome Dr K, one of our GISS teaching alumnus back to campus, which he said was like visiting family. We are GISS family!
