It was truly remarkable to see how much progress was made in such a short time, and the students left the camp with a strong sense of accomplishment.  We’re excited for more GISS Music Camps in the future, including opportunities for our younger musicians to get involved! - Janine Boubbov

GISS MUSIc CAMP

Students from the Senior Band, Senior String Ensemble, and Senior Choir (Years 4 to 11) had a fantastic time at their first GISS Music Camp over the weekend of March 1st and 2nd. On Saturday, students gathered at school from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., singing in Camp Voices, rehearsing with their ensembles, and giving an impressive performance for parents on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to the hard work, there was plenty of time to relax, play, and enjoy delicious food together! A big thank you to our string and band tutors, and, as always, to Ms. Valerie for her beautiful piano accompaniment.
