The Social Entrepreneurship AG students recently successfully pitched their ideas to the school manager, Kristian Wolf, and he was happy to provide them with their start-up capital of $20 per student so they can start their business ventures. This semester we have four businesses:

  • The Smootheez – a healthy fruit smoothie bar for busy students and teachers
  • Study Snacks – a bag of sweet treats with study tips to keep you motivated while you study
  • Inspiring Baked Goods – delicious cookies with uplifting, inspirational quotes and messages attached
  • “Save the Koala” by ACR Games – a board game that teaches people about the plight of the much-loved Aussie icon
(Note: this group will be selling koala-themed stickers, temporary tattoos and face-painting to raise money for their board game prototype)

We will be selling our products at the GISS Flea market on Sunday 22nd May and then at lunchtimes from June 6th to June 17th.

Please support the students in their ventures; all profits go to charities of their choice including youth mental health, Australian wildlife and Rural Aid charities, which are all worthy causes.
