Our Year 12 students are in their final week at school, the showcase week. This is the time when they share their expertise as IB students with the community. They present their art works in an art exhibition and would normally showcase their essays and internal investigations where they share their experiences of their individual IB journeys with the school community and especially with the Year 10 and 11 students by giving some advice and insight on how to get stuck into the IB Diploma Program successfully.
As a number of our Year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to participate in excursions to Germany or Melbourne during the showcase week this year, the Year 12 students demonstrated their creative thinking skills by coming up with the idea to organise a Q&A session for students instead of a showcase event. The recording of this session entitled “You can ask that about the IB” will be available for all students who have missed the live event.
The graduating students did a fantastic job, they answered all questions – related to subject choices, CAS, EE, TOK or how to avoid stress – in a professional and precise manner or as Mr Day said, “It all went excellently – all the Year12s answered well with succinct, thoughtful, and effective answers.”

ib showcase week
Unsere SchülerInnen der Jahrgangsstufe 12 befinden sich in ihrer letzten Schulwoche, der Showcase-Woche. Dies ist die Zeit, in der sie ihr Fachwissen als IB-SchülerInnen mit der Community teilen. Sie präsentieren ihre Kunstwerke in einer Kunstausstellung und präsentieren normalerweise ihre Aufsätze und internen Untersuchungen, in denen sie ihre Erfahrungen mit ihrer individuellen IB-Reise mit der Schulgemeinschaft und insbesondere mit den SchülerInnen der Klassen 10 und 11 teilen, indem sie einige Ratschläge und Einblicke geben, wie sie erfolgreich in das IB-Diplomprogramm einsteigen können.
Da in diesem Jahr einige unserer SchülerInnen der Klassen 10 und 11 die Möglichkeit hatten, während der Showcase-Woche an Exkursionen nach Deutschland oder Melbourne teilzunehmen, bewiesen die IB-SchülerInnen ihr kreatives Denken, und kamen auf die Idee, anstelle einer Showcase-Veranstaltung eine Fragerunde für die SchülerInnen zu organisieren. Die Aufzeichnung dieses Events mit dem Titel "You can ask that about the IB" wird für alle SchülerInnen verfügbar sein, die die Live-Veranstaltung verpasst haben.
Die SchülerInnen haben einen ganz tollen Job gemacht, sie haben alle Fragen – bezogen auf die Fächerwahl, CAS, EE, TOK oder wie man Stress vermeidet – professionell und präzise beantwortet oder wie Herr Day sagte: " It all went excellently – all the Year12s answered well with succinct, thoughtful, and effective answers."
