I am delighted to be joining the vibrant community at the German International School Sydney and feel honoured to be part of such a dynamic and globally minded learning environment.

I bring with me over twenty years of teaching experience from London and Sydney, including as Head of Drama at John Colet School, at which I have directed the Shakespeare performances for the past 3 years. Prior to this, I taught English Literature, English Language, Music and History at senior level, alongside fulfilling the role of Examiner for a national exam board in the UK.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Consciousness Studies and am currently working towards a PhD in Education. My research continues to inform my interest in student agency, reflective learning, and the development of thoughtful, self-aware learners—values that align strongly with the International Baccalaureate philosophy.

I look forward to working with the senior students at GISS as they navigate the final stages of their educational journey, and I am excited to support them in achieving both academic excellence and personal growth.
