Last Friday, our GISS Basketball team, the Joeys, took on the Berlin Cosmopolitan School's Boys' Basketball Team who made a stop at Terrey Hills on their Australian tour, led by their coach, Sven Wehrmeyer for a friendly basketball game. The court was alive with energy as numerous GISS students from various classes and staff members rallied to support both teams.The game was intense with each side giving their all and ending with a final score of 51:37 in favour of the Berliner team.  

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Berlin Cosmopolitan School's team and their coach, Sven Wehrmeyer, for visiting GISS and contributing to an unforgettable game.  And thank you too to our sports teacher, Klaus Pfannenmüller, for organising the day and to Hugh Crundwell for being the referee.
